HYPOXI is quite possibly the best workout when you don’t feel like working out! If your problem areas are thighs, legs, and butt, you can choose between the S120 and L250 machines.
To get into one of those machines you’ll be fitted with a heart rate monitor below your bust and a temperature monitor on your leg. You then need to slip on a compression ‘skirt’ that acts as the final seal around the machine.
Both devices get you the same results but you might want to consider the points below when you make your choice.
L250
Rest your back
Have you worked out laying down? Well then L250 is a must-try! A low impact, high outcome cycling session is designed for you to rest your upper body and target the lower half. Moreover, it’s a unique exercise option if you have lower back issues. Back injuries are no joke, and HYPOXI is one way of making an intelligent comeback to running or any form of HIIT exercise.
Keep Calm & get into L250
You probably take your breathing for granted, don’t you? Research shows that breathing in a horizontal position is better for your health. Horizontal breath uses the muscle in your body made for breathing, the diaphragm. Diaphragmatic breathing stimulates your vagus nerve reducing stress, anxiety and inflammation by activating the “relaxation response” of your parasympathetic nervous system. Too often we neglect to use our diaphragm when you breathe which can result in greater tension and more fatigue.
S120
Multitasking Queen
We can always say we don’t have enough time, we can’t fit things in, we are too busy or we aren’t “feeling” it today, but there’s really no excuse if you can work while working out. Our S120 session is multitasking at its finest – checking emails, catching up on social media & following up our clients WHILE burning stubborn fat.
Social butterfly
S120 is more social! You will be sitting high on your bike overlooking everything happening in a studio. Strike up a conversation with a fellow HYPOXI lover or chat to your coach about … well, ANYTHING!
Did you know interacting with others boosts feelings of well-being and decreases feelings of depression? Research has shown that one sure way of improving your mood is to work on building social connections.
